Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: July 2026
Welcome to The Pittsburgh Bachelorette. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of ThePittsburghBachelorette.com, including our vendor directory, event calendar, blog, vendor application forms, email list, planning resources, products, services, and other website features.
The website and applicable services are operated by Candid Content Collective, doing business as The Pittsburgh Bachelorette, referred to in these Terms as “TPB,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By accessing the website, submitting a form, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise using the website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Please do not use the website if you do not agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a purchase, submit a vendor application, or book services through the website.
By using the website, you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
2. The TPB Platform
The Pittsburgh Bachelorette is a celebration-planning platform that may:
• Provide a directory of independent venues, vendors, accommodations, products, and service providers
• Publish guides, articles, recommendations, event information, and planning resources
• Accept applications from businesses interested in becoming TPB partners
• Offer planning, styling, décor, stocking, content creation, promotional, and other services directly through TPB
• Sell products, packages, memberships, tickets, or other offerings
• Send newsletters, business updates, recommendations, and promotional communications
Some services displayed on the website are provided directly by TPB. Other services are provided by independent third-party vendors.
3. Independent Vendors
Unless expressly stated otherwise, businesses included in the TPB directory are independent third parties and are not employees, agents, joint venturers, or representatives of TPB.
A vendor’s inclusion in the directory does not create a partnership between that vendor and a website visitor. It also does not mean that TPB controls or guarantees the vendor’s availability, pricing, performance, licensing, insurance, safety procedures, accessibility, policies, or services.
Users are responsible for:
• Communicating directly with vendors
• Confirming pricing, availability, travel fees, age restrictions, accessibility, and service details
• Reviewing the vendor’s agreement, cancellation policy, and refund policy
• Determining whether a vendor is appropriate for their event
• Entering into a separate agreement with the selected vendor
Any contract for third-party services is solely between the user and the applicable vendor. TPB is not responsible for disputes, cancellations, injuries, damages, losses, service failures, or other issues arising from a third-party vendor relationship.
4. Vendor Listings and Website Information
We work to provide useful and accurate information, but vendor details may change without notice. Prices, capacities, menus, service areas, promotions, availability, policies, and other listing information should always be confirmed directly with the vendor.
Photographs may be provided by vendors or other authorized sources and may show examples of previous work. They do not guarantee that an identical product, setup, space, menu, or experience will be available.
The website may include sponsored, featured, complimentary, or paid vendor listings. Placement within the directory does not guarantee a particular level of quality, availability, sales, exposure, website traffic, social media coverage, or customer inquiries.
5. Vendor Applications and Partnerships
Submitting a vendor application does not guarantee acceptance into the TPB directory or any other partnership opportunity.
TPB reserves the right to:
• Approve or decline applications at its discretion
• Request additional business information
• Determine the appropriate category or placement for a listing
• Edit submitted information for grammar, length, consistency, clarity, and website formatting
• Refuse or remove content that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the TPB brand
• Suspend or remove a listing when partnership requirements are not met
Approved vendors may be required to enter into a separate partnership agreement, complete a questionnaire, provide images or other materials, and pay applicable listing or membership fees. That separate agreement will control if it conflicts with these general website Terms.
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, submitting an application does not create an employment, agency, franchise, joint venture, or exclusive relationship.
6. Direct TPB Services
TPB may directly provide services such as event styling, décor installation, fridge stocking, bar setups, welcome experiences, florals, charcuterie coordination, planning assistance, content creation, promotional services, or other packages.
All direct TPB services are subject to:
• Availability
• Any package description presented at the time of purchase
• A separate proposal, invoice, contract, or service agreement when applicable
• Payment deadlines, cancellation terms, and rescheduling policies provided during booking
When a separate service agreement is provided, that agreement controls the specific service relationship.
Third-party products or vendor services incorporated into a TPB package may remain subject to the policies, availability, and limitations of the third-party provider.
7. Purchases and Payments
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
By making a purchase, you represent that:
• You are authorized to use the selected payment method
• The billing information you provide is accurate
• You authorize TPB and its payment processor to charge the applicable amount
Prices, availability, package contents, and promotional offers may change at any time before a purchase is completed.
Applicable taxes, processing charges, delivery fees, travel fees, gratuities, or other costs may be added when disclosed during booking or checkout.
TPB may refuse or cancel an order due to suspected fraud, payment failure, incorrect pricing, service unavailability, website error, or other reasonable circumstances. If TPB cancels a paid order, amounts paid directly to TPB for the canceled item or service will be refunded unless another lawful resolution has been agreed upon.
8. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling
Cancellation, refund, transfer, and rescheduling terms may vary depending on the product, event, package, membership, or service purchased.
The policy presented during checkout, included on the invoice, or contained in a separate contract will apply to that purchase.
Payments made directly to a third-party vendor are governed by that vendor’s policies. TPB cannot issue refunds for money paid directly to another business.
Vendor membership, directory, advertising, promotional, or profile-development fees are nonrefundable once work has begun or the listing has been created, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
9. Promotions and Exclusive Offers
Vendors may provide promotions or exclusive offers for members of the TPB community. These offers are supplied and fulfilled by the participating vendor unless otherwise stated.
Offers may:
• Require users to mention TPB before booking
• Be subject to availability or minimum purchases
• Exclude taxes, gratuities, travel, upgrades, or other fees
• Be changed or discontinued by the vendor
TPB is not responsible for a third-party vendor’s refusal or inability to honor a promotion, but we welcome reports of outdated or inaccurate offers.
10. Email and Marketing Communications
When you join our email list, submit a form, or otherwise consent to receive marketing communications, you authorize TPB to send newsletters, planning ideas, vendor recommendations, promotions, event announcements, and business updates.
You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message. Transactional or service-related communications may still be sent when necessary to complete a purchase, administer a booking, respond to an inquiry, or manage a vendor relationship.
Your information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
11. Events, Tickets, and Third-Party Activities
Events promoted through the website may be organized by TPB, a participating vendor, or another third party. The event listing or ticket page should identify the organizer when applicable.
Event schedules, locations, activities, menus, participants, and other details may change. Ticket purchases may also be subject to additional event-specific terms.
Participation in activities may involve risks, including travel, food and alcohol consumption, beauty treatments, physical activities, transportation, crafting tools, medical or wellness services, and other experiences. Users are responsible for evaluating their own health, safety, mobility, and comfort before participating.
TPB does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice through its directory or editorial content.
12. Alcohol-Related Content and Services
Some website content and vendor offerings may involve alcohol. You must meet the applicable legal drinking-age requirements to purchase, consume, or participate in alcohol-related services.
TPB does not encourage unsafe or unlawful alcohol consumption. Users are responsible for drinking responsibly, arranging safe transportation, and following all venue, vendor, and legal requirements.
13. Third-Party Websites
The website may contain links to vendor websites, reservation platforms, social media accounts, ticketing services, accommodations, payment processors, and other third-party websites.
These links are provided for convenience. TPB does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, content, security, availability, accessibility, privacy practices, or transactions.
Your use of a third-party website is governed by that party’s own terms and policies.
14. Intellectual Property
The website and its original content, including the TPB name, branding, graphics, written descriptions, directory organization, guides, blog content, service names, photographs owned by TPB, videos, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to TPB and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal, noncommercial planning purposes. You may not, without prior written permission:
• Copy or republish substantial portions of the website
• Scrape, extract, download, or reproduce the directory
• Use website content to create a competing directory or service
• Remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices
• Sell, sublicense, modify, or commercially exploit TPB content
• Use the TPB name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests an unauthorized partnership or endorsement
15. Vendor Content License
When a vendor submits photographs, logos, descriptions, promotions, videos, testimonials, links, or other materials, the vendor represents that it owns the content or has permission to provide it.
The vendor grants TPB a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, resize, edit, format, publish, display, distribute, and promote the submitted content in connection with the directory, website, emails, social media, advertisements, promotional materials, and TPB services.
This license continues while the vendor is listed or partnered with TPB and for a reasonable archival and promotional period afterward, subject to any separate written agreement.
16. User Submissions
When you submit an application, inquiry, testimonial, photograph, comment, review, or other material, you agree not to provide content that:
• Is false, misleading, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful
• Violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights
• Contains malware, spam, or unauthorized promotional material
• Impersonates another person or business
• Misrepresents your relationship with a vendor or TPB
TPB may remove or decline to publish submitted content at its discretion.
17. Prohibited Use
You may not use the website to:
• Violate any law or regulation
• Commit fraud or provide false information
• Interfere with the operation or security of the website
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another system or account
• Introduce viruses, malicious code, or harmful technology
• Harvest contact information or send unauthorized solicitations
• Scrape or systematically collect vendor information
• Harass TPB, vendors, users, or other individuals
• Use the website for a competing commercial directory without permission
18. Website Availability
We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, secure, uninterrupted, or free from errors. Maintenance, technical issues, third-party outages, or circumstances outside our control may affect availability.
19. Disclaimers
The website, directory, editorial content, and general planning resources are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TPB disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, title, and noninfringement.
We do not guarantee:
• The results of using the website or hiring a listed vendor
• The accuracy or completeness of every third-party listing
• That a vendor will be available or suitable for a particular event
• That services will meet every user’s expectations
• A particular number of bookings, leads, sales, views, or inquiries for vendors
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TPB and its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from:
• Use of or inability to use the website
• Reliance on a vendor listing or recommendation
• A transaction or dispute involving an independent vendor
• Loss, theft, injury, property damage, delay, cancellation, or service failure
• Third-party websites, products, venues, accommodations, transportation, food, beverages, activities, or services
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of user information
For claims arising from a product or service purchased directly from TPB, TPB’s total liability will not exceed the amount the claimant paid directly to TPB for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim, except where a different limitation is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
21. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TPB and its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:
• Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the website
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content or materials you submit
• Your infringement of another party’s rights
• Your conduct at an event or in connection with a vendor service
This section does not require a consumer to indemnify TPB for TPB’s own unlawful conduct.
22. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action arising from these Terms or the website must be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Before filing a claim, the parties are encouraged to contact one another and make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the website, services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
Material changes affecting an existing paid service will be handled according to the applicable contract and law.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
25. No Waiver
A failure by TPB to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.
26. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable order form, invoice, ticket terms, partnership agreement, or service contract constitute the agreement between you and TPB regarding the applicable website use or transaction.
When a separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate agreement controls for the subject matter it specifically addresses.
